Friends and Family

This is my page where I just share some of my life with my friends, family and people who just visit the cattery site to get a little idea of who I am.  Nothing to do with the cattery itself, but my life at home and some other interests I have in my life...  The people on this page have had major impacts on my life, people who have taught me to be the person I've become over the past many years of my life.  New friends and family who give me great help whether they know it or not, and fun that normally I probably wouldn't have ventured out for in the first place!  So, to them I say thank you, I love all of you!!!

Me and my fat@$$ with Christopher in my arms, Josh and Kelli doing her usual drama queen strut...why oh why did we go to the coal mines anyhow?

Aunt Sylvia, Becca, me and Kelli visiting Aunt Sylvia's beautiful place  on Irving and 18th... Memories galore of climbing out her window to the garden area outside the back of her building when I was younger than Kelli....

LOL this is just one of my favorite photos...

 Halloween '08...

Oh here's me with my dearest friend Michael DiGioia... you can find his CD on CDBABY.  Apart from an incredibe singing voice, he's gots SO much talent as an actor.  You've been an inspiration to me for such a long time...not sure if you are aware of it...I am SO grateful to have you a part of my  life... you have come so far in your career even in the past 3 years I've known you, I am so very proud of you for never giving up!!!   I love you!!!  (even after a late night show, dinner and long walks and staying up until 5am!!!)

Some pictures from the show...unfortunately I was working against the photographer from the New Yorker Magazine...

My friend Stephanie Barton-Farcas, founder of the Nicu's Spoon Theater in New York City, who had made the "Elizabeth Rex" play a massive New York theater hit this year is hoping to go full-fledged Broadway!!!!  Please help by donating any amount you can, keep this production growing and going!     If you have a chance in the future to see this show WHEN it returns, do so.  It was fantastic...  Smaller theater is always so much more interesting and intimate than full-blown commercialized broadway production...  Stephanie and the entire cast, the writers and producers did the most amazing job putting this show together...kept everyone on the edge of their seats the entire show....

Nicu's Spoon Theater is the only company in NYC serving ALL artists – different colors, ages, genders, abilities, nationalities – with no regard to anything except talent and vibrancy. Of 341 members of the Alliance of Resident Theatres we are the only one providing regularly scheduled works for the deaf and differently abled communities. Join with Time Warner, NYU, NY Community Trust and other funders and make our 9th season extraordinary! For the price of a latte you can be a donor!

NICU’S SPOON is trying to go to Broadway! Our spring show ‘Elizabeth Rex’ sold out from day 2 and snowballed into an Off-Broadway HIT. It has also garnered two NY Innovative Theater Award Nominations – for Best Lead Actor and Actress, and one win and may be nominated for Drama Desk Awards and Outer Circle Critics Awards.

Donate funds to help us out for this special run, donate large funds and be a producer – Donate online or send a check to our PO Box – lets show that you don’t need to be a big conglomerate – lets prove a COMMUNITY can produce a show!  Email us at info@spoontheater.org for more information!

Please donate to help us upgrade our new space as well, and support our season- $5, $50 – For those who donate $500 they may have a seat named after them or anyone they wish to honor! Larger amounts – 5K, 10K, 25K enable you to be a producer in 2009.

HI HONEY!!!!  Luis, my other awesome buddy...  we look SO great in the mornings, don't we???

My cousin and touchstone Becca...with Michael and of course myself, after his first show Off-Off-Broadway, "Elizabeth Rex"...my cousin has seen me through the best and the absolute worst times of my life, and has taught me to be a strong minded self-sufficient woman.  I owe her so much,  and she still is a guiding light for me when I'm lost...for that I thank her...

My Daughter, and my bestest and oldest friend Denise... Met her in a chat room 15 years ago and we've shared a brain cell ever since...  There's always that one person in someone's life who should be there always, knowing when something's not right, to fix it.   Even 3,000 miles away...
